About Renfrewshire
Renfrewshire’s office market centres on the town of Paisley, the sprawling Hillington Park estate and a handful of other business parks in its vicinity. The local business base and economy stand to benefit from the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS), a high-tech cluster supporting the growth of manufacturing and life sciences companies. The area’s location immediately west of Glasgow means it enjoys fast access to Scotland’s largest city via the M8 motorway; the A761; and the A898, which crosses the Erskine Bridge. Glasgow International Airport, Scotland’s second-busiest airport, is in Paisley. Regular rail services run between the town and Glasgow Central with a journey time of less than 20 minutes.
