The Glisan Building, listed on the Historic Registry was built in 1889 in the Queen Anne Italianate style, it was the last building in Portland to use iron pilasters and columns. The three-story, 12,313 SF building was originally home to Dr. Rodney Glisan's practice, and a creamery on the first floor. Currently housing Kell's Irish Pub, the building is fully set up with two Commercial Kitchens, for use as an event venue, restaurant, bar, or office space. It is one of only a handful of buildings in Portland that allows patrons to smoke inside of the Cigar Bar.
