Now, the owner has decided to go in a different direction and wants to sell the business to the next restaurant operator. The owners are very honest and account for all income and expense. Consequently, the books are very easy to read and show great detail. They are available for anyone who is a serious candidate for the purchase of the asset. This is a sale of the business subject to negotiating a brand-new lease with the owner of the property, who happens to be the father-in-law of the owner operator. As a part of the negotiations, a new lease will be placed on the property, protecting the business owner from losing his lease in the future.
