The new Sprouts is located at the NWC of the busiest intersection in the City of Yuma, which is evidenced by ADOT’s estimated combined east/west bound traffic count, which totals ±61,432 vpd, with north/south bound traffic estimated to be ±50,837 vpd. Yuma is the largest city in Arizona outside the metro areas of Phoenix and Tucson and between 1990 and 2000, Yuma was the third fastest growing Metropolitan Statistical Area in the United States. Today, approximately 205,850 full-time residents call Yuma home; however, Yuma’s population swells to roughly 300,000 during the winter months each year (October through April), as a result of our large winter visitor population, which is in addition to the estimated 300,000 other folks that make short term visits to Yuma each year.
