The Pellston Lodge is a two-story building built in 1999, containing 38,172 SF of gross building area. The hotel consists of 52 rooms and suites, well-appointed lobby w/fireplace, interior corridors, breakfast room, conference room, business center, swimming pool & hot tub, outdoor patio, fitness center, guest laundry and vending. The hotel parking lot is paved and striped and provides for 102 vehicles, including trucks with electric plug-in availability. The land area is 13.50 acres and is partially wooded and professionally landscaped. The Porte Cochere, which faces south, is located at the entrance of the hotel lobby. Guest room amenities include several room types, premium bedding, electronic door locks, telephone w/direct line, flat screen television, coffee maker, clock radio, hairdryer and high-speed wireless Internet access. The area offers many summer and winter recreational activities. The nearby Maple River is a well known trout stream, offering anglers fun and challenge. The high hills in the surrounding area contain several of the best ski resorts in the state, including The Highlands of Boyne USA. Also, the many railroad grades that came to Pellston in the early 1900's serving the lumber mills are now some of the longest and best snowmobile trails in all of the Michigan's Lower Peninsula, allowing rider's to go from Mackinaw City to Harbor Springs and beyond. There are also several golf courses in the area.
