Executive Summary
The R3 Hotel, a mainstay of LGBTQ+ community and its friends has been in the center of activity for over 40 years. The Resort is a 23 room hotel with bar and restaurant, decks and pool. It is the most popular of the resorts on the Russian River. This sale will included an ABC Type 47& 48 license respectively for the restaurant and bar. Originally built as a motor court style motel built in the '40's as Hetzel's, it evolved into the Russian River Resort in the 80's. Ray Allen would take over the resort which was a favorite of guests from all over, especially from San Francisco and Palm Springs. The Resort with its stage for shows and sun deck is a Russian River destination. Currently operated by long term fabulous General Manager Jeff Bridges, Glenn Dixon CFO and Russian River bar and resort owner veteran. The current management team has made many improvements to the property with accessibility in mind, making the R3 a place for everyone. The Resort is represented by Steven Gerry of Compass in San Francisco and longtime River agent Bob Young. There is no destination on the Russian River like the R3'' , says Young. It has served our community so well over the years, being the headquarters for events like Lazy Bear Week that it is really irreplaceable.
