Elk City KOA is a 95-site RV park located just outside of Elk City, Oklahoma in the town of Foss. The Elk City KOA is a popular stop for travelers along Interstate-40 (the old route-66) and is open year-round. Throughout the year, campers have the option to stay on a nightly, weekly or monthly basis. The property offers pull-through and back-in RV sites, cabins, deluxe cabins and tent sites. The park consists of 68 total RV sites. Of those 68 sites, 25 are back-in. 19 of the back-in site are 30 amp while the remaining six of the back-in sites are 50 amp. The remaining 43 RV sites are pull-through. 28 of the pull-through sites are 30 amp. The final 15 pull-through sites are 50 amp. The property also includes seven total cabins. Four of the cabins are single-room with a bunk bed and single cot, sleeping up to four guests. Three of the cabins are deluxe, with one full bed and a bunk bed. The deluxe cabins sleeps up to four people and include a bathroom. Recently upgraded, the deluxe cabins include a TV, refrigerator and microwave. The deluxe cabins also have a front deck with swing and feature air conditioners for camper comfort. In addition to RV sites and cabins, visitors have the option to camp at any of the 20 tent sites. All tent sites offer water and electric. Future plans at the park include upgrading two tent sites to deluxe tent sites, improving decks on deluxe cabins and upgrading three RV sites to patio sites. While staying at the Elk City KOA guests have access to wi-fi, cable TV, laundry open 24 hours and a playground with brand new equipment. Campers can relax and order a pizza from the recently added Hunt Bros Pizza. New park activities such as bocce ball, horseshoes, two cornhole sets, tetherball and basketball have been added to the park for camper enjoyment. Campers can shop at the convenience store, take their dogs to the large pet run or walk to Clinton Lake for local fishing. A little farther north is Foss Lake, another destination for local fishing. Other fun activities include swimming at the pool and playing the arcade games at the restaurant.
