About Midtown Omaha
Omaha is home to the highest per capita concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in the US, including Berkshire Hathaway, the Mutual of Omaha, and Kiewit Corporation as anchor downtown tenants. These tenants enjoy Omaha’s premier urban amenities and hotels, as well as Turner Park and the Missouri River waterfront, and to the west, the University of Nebraska Medical center. The area contains nearly 17 million square feet of office space valued at an estimated $2.4 billion. Despite a single-digit vacancy rate and a scarcity of large block spaces, asking rents in the area are below higher-priced submarkets like Suburban West Dodge and Regency.
Two large-scale redevelopment projects are underway, including a $500 million master-planned redevelopment of the ConAgra campus, which brings with it the demolition of several buildings and the activation of underused corridors near Old Market and 10th Street. And a $300 million plan is underway to rejuvenate the riverfront and the recently updated Gene Leahy Mall. Kiewit's 165,000-square-foot global campus will deliver in 2021, and the redevelopment of a former Chevrolet dealership-turned-storage-facility into a 36,000-square-foot office building adds to the optimism growing downtown.

Kurt Weeder, Senior Associate
Kurt has been with The Lund Company since 2002, where he started as a property manager and transitioned to the brokerage division. His experience as a property manager included the management of 1.5 million square feet of retail, office and industrial properties and a portfolio consisting of 12 properties. Prior to joining The Lund Company, Kurt operated a construction company he founded in 1999.
Kurt attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE with an Army ROTC scholarship and served two years on active duty in the U.S. Army. Kurt is a licensed real estate salesperson in Nebraska. He has coached high school girls and AAU boys basketball in Omaha and has refereed at USA Rugby competitions around the United States.
Dylan McCabe, Associate
Dylan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Finance. While at UNL he was a four-year letterman on the Husker golf team, earning a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2019. Dylan is a licensed real estate salesperson in Nebraska and received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2022 to broaden his industry experience.
