The rent amount and type that the tenant (lessee) will be responsible to pay to the landlord (lessor) throughout the lease term is negotiated prior to both parties signing a lease agreement. Karen handles leasing and tenant representation for many local and national clients. Some of the many landlords she represents include: Kimco Realty, Grand Sakwa, Lormax Stern Development, Viking Partners, The Kroenke Group and First Holdings Management. Lindsey Shaw, Senior Sales Associate
Lindsey became a licensed salesperson in Michigan in July 2012. She began her real estate career in multi-family leasing and property management in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After spending three years in multi-family leasing, Lindsey wanted to expand her knowledge in the commercial real estate world. Lindsey joined Mid-America Group Real Estate-Michigan, Inc. in November 2015.
Lindsey received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Women Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Outside of the office Lindsey writes for the Detroit Jewish News, sits on the board for the Detroit Institute of Art’s Founder’s Junior Council and is a founding member of the Cities Without Houses - Detroit Soho House.
Lindsey’s notable product leasing clients include: Ford Motor Land Development Co., Time Equities Inc, RPT Realty, Kin Properties, Excess Space, Realty Income, RMR Group, Woodcrest Capital, Sansome Pacific Properties, and Pacifica Companies. Ford Motor Land Development Co. broke ground in May 2017 on the Wagner Place, a 150,000 SF mixed-use development in Dearborn, MI. The project will bring 600+ Ford Motor employees to Downtown West Dearborn and 40,000 SF of new 1st floor retail, which was 69% pre-leased. With her finger on the pulse of the market, Shaw represents national tenants such as: American Freight Furniture & Mattress, Cycle Gear, Shopko Optical, AT&T Wireless, Warby Parker, David’s Bridal, and Slim Chickens in Michigan. Shaw is experienced with working with franchise businesses such as: Wellbiz Brands, The UPS Store, Red Effect Infrared Fitness, Massage Green Spa, and Nekter Juice.
