Historic church on Walnut & 3rd Streets in Wilmington, De. It is a two-story, three bay, "L"-shaped stuccoed stone structure built in a vernacular Italianate style located at the corner of 3rd & Walnut. This building is rich with history and features craftsmanship from the late 1700's into the early 1900's. It was the first Methodist Church in Wilmington and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. 1st floor - dining room, commercial kitchen (currently used by Emmanuel Dining Room), and offices/spare rooms 2nd floor - sanctuary and offices/spare rooms The sanctuary consists of two levels of seating and ornate features including the original tracker pipe organ (1896), stained glass windows, and elegant chandeliers.
