Royersford is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 32 miles northwest of Philadelphia, on the Schuylkill River. While originally a center for the area farming community, the borough grew into a small iron and manufacturing center. Today, the borough has become a very attractive bedroom community given its location at an inter-change of the 422 Expressway. Royersford has a main street shopping area, as well as many small businesses and neighborhood shopping centers that serve residents in portions of the surrounding townships of Limerick and Upper Providence. Due to its access to Route 422, residents enjoy numerous shopping and entertainment venues at King of Prussia Mall and the Premium Outlets in Limerick as well as attractions in nearby Phoenixville, Reading and Valley Forge. Further, Royersford has a strong tie to the Borough of Spring City, located on the other side of the Schuylkill River in Chester County.

Royersford shares its school system with Spring City and other closely located towns. The Spring-Ford Area School District is a top-rated and has won a number of awards for their academic achievements and athletics. Further, the district has newly-built schools to accommodate the growing population. The school district is known for challenging its students to push them to be better with a faculty that genuinely cares about the quality of education they are giving there students.
