Description

These 160 acres were a result from a majority of the Crow family farm being purchased by the federal government for the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) hydropower dam projects. The large farm was once owned by the Crow and Collier families dating back to the early 1800's. The Crow family retained 30 acres in the Priceville area and used the proceeds to purchase the 160 acres listed in this proposal.
