The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) is a collaborative effort between the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and the City of Anaheim to provide a regional transportation hub integrated with a dynamic mixed-use development on property owned by the City of Anaheim and OCTA. ARTIC will serve existing and expanded Metrolink and Amtrak passengers, OCTA local bus and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service, airport FlyAway bus service, Anaheim Transportation Network clean fuel circulator shuttles connecting to The Platinum Triangle and The Anaheim Resort, and private transportation providers.With a LEED Platinum design and innovative architecture, ARTIC is an iconic landmark in the heart of Orange County that employs sustainable, green efforts at every level.The first phase is comprised of 67,000 square foot transportation facility that includes 12,000 square feet of retail development and 30,000 square feet of civic space; trackwork and platforms; and, 1,255 parking spaces. Future phases of ARTIC could provide for a fixed-guideway system onnecting to The Anaheim Resort, as well as the planned statewide California High-Speed Rail project and the planned C A world-class development has emerged in Southern California. The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) combines a transportation gateway and mixed-use activity center on a 16 acre site owned by the City of Anaheim. The site is situated along Metrolink' s Orange County Line and Amtrak Surfliner Line routes. The project is centrally located within Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles Area. Positioned among Honda Center, Angel Stadium, Disneyland and The Anaheim Convention Center.
