Resort For Sale – Oak Island, MN – LOTW. Oak Island Resort is a seasonal resort located on 20+ acres, with 1000’+/- of shoreline in the Northwest Angle on picturesque Lake of the Woods. OIR is comprised of nine fully equipped rental cabins, with a total of 27 bedrooms and 53 beds giving it the ability to accommodate all groups, large or small. Of the nine cabins, eight and the main lodge are built lakeside, with the ninth cabin being built less than 300' from the main dock. In addition to the rental cabins, the property also has a main lodge, owner’s residence, staff quarters, additional shower facilities, garage, storage building, fish cleaning facility and a large rock breakwater to protect the marina. Although fishing is the main attraction for visitors to OIR and LOTW, there are also options for more family style vacations with other recreational opportunities like kayaking, hiking trails, bird watching, picto-hunting, campfires, and generally exploring the rich history of the lake, including gold-mines and trapper cabins.
