There is an elementary school across the street, and the local high school is a five-minute walk. In western North Carolina, next to the Smoky Mountains, one-and-a-half hours south of Knoxville, Tennessee. The clientele is 80% drivers and motorcyclists who come and ride the roads in this area on the edge of the Smoky Mountains. Robbinsville is the only town near two or three of the most famous roads in the United States, the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, and others.
