Description
Just under an acre of land, previously used as grazing land for horses. Behind number 2 Blackcroft Gardens. No planning consents have been applied for, and services are nearby. This property has a boundary on one side of Sandhills Road with sloped land to leading to site. The site is currently secured at the Sandyhills Road end by wire fence. The current access via Blackcroft Gardens will be removed on sale of the land and finished with timber fence. On the other 2 sides the land has a boundary of house gardens. We have a plan of the site which is available to be viewed at viewings. The site forms part of the historic railway line opened initially in 1883 and named “North Mount Vernon”. The railway was closed on 4th October 1964 and dismantled shortly afterwards. Some neighbouring ‘more modern developments’ exist along the length of the historic railway site – these include Central Grove, Central Path and Blackcroft Gardens itself. Given the planning approval of neighbouring sites, it could be reasonable assumed that investigations could be made to build similar on the site. If you are visiting the site please only make external inspection from the Sandyhills Road end. Otherwise book an onsite appointment to view the land. Given the very reasonable asking price of this site, and for the avoidance of doubt, the site does not have any previous planning application or permissions.
