Ancillary services include a fuel dock, a marina office (with retail potential) adjacent to the marina docks, restrooms, and haul-out. Jamestown's downtown provides restaurants and shopping. There is also a seasonal ferry that runs out of the marina across the bay to Newport. The boatyard, which is located 0.8-mile to the north, occupies approximately five acres and has four buildings totaling 39,000 sq. ft. The boatyard serves multiple functions including offering full-service boat repair, winter storage (inside and out), and parking during boating season with a sprinter van taking customers back and forth from the private lot to the marina docks.
