Property Overview
The City of San Juan Capistrano (“City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified parties to invest in the future of the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano (“Riding Park”). The Riding Park is located on an approximately 65-acre property (“Site”) owned by the City with a long history of hosting world class equestrian events, community and sporting events, and the annual Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo. Through a Request for Qualifications & Proposals (“RFQ/P”) the City seeks to identify a qualified party to either revitalize, or fully transform the Riding Park. While equestrian oriented uses are welcomed, the City invites interested parties to completely reimagine the future of the Site with the goal of creating a use that engages broad community participation. Responses are due to the San Juan Capistrano City Clerk at or before 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
