Stratford Square is a 160,000 sf strip center located just off I-95 in affluent Stratford, CT. This town on the water is an affluent community which pulls shoppers from Stratford, Bridgeport and Orange/Milford. The site is anchored by Marshalls and LA Fitness and sits on Barnum Avenue Cut-Off (Route 1) at the intersection with Veteran’s Blvd off I-95’s exit 33. The property backs up against I-95 with rear signage perfectly visible from the highway. Currently, the CT DOT is planning a redevelopment of exit 33 to include an exit ramp off I-95 leading to Veteran’s Blvd. The plan is to create a full diamond interchange adding a new southbound ramp connecting Veteran’s Blvd to the northside of I-95 and a new northbound ramp connecting Route I northbound to the southbound side of I-95.
