Rent Types
The rent amount and type that the tenant (lessee) will be responsible to pay to the landlord (lessor) throughout the lease term is negotiated prior to both parties signing a lease agreement. The rent type will vary depending upon the services provided. For example, triple net rents are typically lower than full service rents due to additional expenses the tenant is required to pay in addition to the base rent. About the Property
418 Federal Street was designed by architect Thomas Stephen in the French neoclassical Beaux Arts architectural style. Built in 1901, it served as the home of the South Jersey Gas, Electric and Traction Company until the early 1980s when it was sold to the City of Camden. It then served as the city’s main public library until it was closed in 2011. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in January 2005.
