About Downtown Los Angeles
Downtown Los Angeles is in the midst of an urban renaissance. Once a sleepy, nine-to-five downtown, the area has become a true 24-hour live/work/play destination in recent years. Every week, there is an announcement of a new restaurant or store opening. The neighborhood has seen a surge in population and some the greatest levels of apartment construction in the region. Downtown’s central location also allows firms to draw employees from many directions. It is the center of L.A. Metro’s ever-expanding rail network, allowing the greatest options for public transport of any office location in Los Angeles.
Downtown has some of the highest concentrations of high-quality office space in Los Angeles, with almost 70% of its inventory highly rated.
