With Hialeah’s historic spirit in mind, Factory Town will aim to bring the entertainment back to Hialeah. Over 6 acres of land, and over 200,000 square feet of enclosed space, provide for a strong foundation to establish an Entertainment District of its own. Planned as a two-phased project, Factory Town will house a variety of uses ranging from local distilleries to exotic bars and from sports venues to the hottest restaurants in town. The project will be conceived as a vibrant retail/restaurant and mixed-use destination as well as an active gathering place for the community. The exterior spaces will be fronting walkable areas interspersed with landscaping, sidewalk cafes and calm areas to sip coffee and people watch. The architectural vocabulary will convey an industrial feel and hospitality with the use of contemporary honest materials that reflect the sophistication of the shopper and the aspiration values of the guest. The aesthetics will be familiar and visually entertaining as they will give the feeling of new, fresh and innovative. The project will demonstrate innovation with respect to architecture, landscaping and urban form.
