640-642 N. Cicero is located in one Chicago’s most historic west side neighborhoods called Austin. It is also one of the largest neighborhood, on a per block radius perspective which is 18 blocks. It is about 7-9 miles from Chicago’s downtown district, The Loop, and easily accessible by: Interstate 290, the CTA Green and Blue Lines, multiple CTA bus routes, and a hand full of major road arteries: Lake Street, Grand Ave., Madison Street, Washington Blvd, or the historic Route 66 aka Adams Street… just to name a few. Austin is boarded by Elmwood Park, Cicero and Oak Park which are all suburbs of Chicago. The eastern boundary is the Belt Railway, which is Cicero Avenue. Austin, after it was annexed into Chicago, continued to maintain an independent identity with a suburban feel in an urban setting. The crown jewel was Columbus Park that features a lagoon, a golf course, athletic fields, a swimming pool, and winding paths.
