Robust Petrochemical Market Growth - Based upon a recent economic report published by the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County, approximately $4.7 billion of petrochemical expansion projects are underway and nearly $5.9 billion of projects are in early planning stages with their local municipalities. One of the projects underway is INEOS’s $1.24-billion Chocolate Bayou plant expansion in Alvin, Texas.
