Flowertown Bed and Breakfast was built in 1889, and Innkeepers opened Flowertown B&B in April 1997 after 4 years of interior and exterior renovations.The three-story Victorian house features four elegant guest rooms with queen sized beds, private baths, fireplaces, central heat and air conditioning. Two of the rooms feature daybeds to accommodate additional guests. Each room is equipped with wireless internet access and a Keurig coffeemaker and full bathroom. Each is artfully decorated with an elegant combination of French and Southern styles, and connects to a bright and spacious sitting parlor. There is a large Southern Porch on the front and back of the house overlooking the landscaped gardens, or stroll among the fountains, a bonsai garden or the water garden complete with Japanese Koi fish. There are many benches throughout the gardens for guests' enjoyment. There is a detached cottage that is a complete efficiency with a full kitchen and bathroom. There is also a wonderful greenhouse. Parking for guests is on the right side and the owner parks on the left. The owner's bedroom suite is downstairs with a full updated bathroom which makes bedroom # 5. The detached cottage makes bedroom # 6. This is a very beautiful property. The cottage is usually rented for several months at a time by one tenant for $1500 a month. Rent per room is on the other room are $165 a night however you could get more. Roof is a metal roof that was painted last year. The roof color is Charleston green. The main house is 4536 sq ft and the cottage is 609 sq ft. The house was built with beautiful hearty pine wood. Wonderful hearty pine wood ceilings and door accents are just gorgeous. Zoned R-1 in town of Summerville.
