Amenities at this new build hotel include flat screen TV’s, an indoor swimming pool, fitness room, meeting rooms, large breakfast area and guest laundry. The Nebraska City Holiday Inn Express & Suites is located at the high traffic intersection of Highways 2 and 75. The hotel market has not seen a new hotel open in over a decade, that being the 30 room Best Western. Nebraska City is a young, active community with a population of 7400 located right off the Missouri River. Interstate 29 runs just east of town causing high traffic flow. The larger cities of Omaha and Lincoln are within an hour’s drive of the hotel. Nebraska City’s major employers include Cargill Meat Solutions, American Meter, Arbor Day Farm and CHI – St. Mary’s Community Hospital, all of which provide the property with steady business. Area attractions include the annual Arbor Day celebration, Arbor Lodge State Historical Park, Lied Lodge & Conference Center, Kregel Museum, Kimmel Orchard and the Lewis & Clark Visitor Center.
