Funlake.com provides a lot of information about the lake and all the events throughout the year. 2018 gross $195,888.75 2019 gross $194,945.42 2019 expenses (before supplies) was $77,753 Supplies include laundry, cleaning, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, tissue paper, linen replacement as needed, basic maintenance supplies, pool supplies, flowers, in room water, pens, paper, firewood, charcoal, lighter fluid, paint, etc. Our biggest supply expense was breakfast which was eliminated in October. There are 13 rooms in the motel, a 3 bedroom house across the parking lot, seasonal pool, fire pit, 2 grilling areas and a 3 car garage which can easily be converted into 3 more units. All the rooms have been remodeled. 3 new hot water heaters were installed in April 2016. All 13 rooms have full sized refrigerators, microwaves, 32 in flat screen TVs, and coffee makers. We offer all expanded Spectrum channels plus 2 HBO + 1 Showtime. We advertise the “best shower pressure” at the lake, and everyone who stays has agreed the best they've ever had! The 26th Circuit Court is located a mile away at the city square which brings in court visitors throughout the year. We are 5 minutes from the #1 State Park in Missouri (Ha Ha Tonka) which has lake access, 10 minutes to Ozark Amphitheater which brings in big name bands in the summer. We are also close to several local wineries and float trips, 10 minutes from Lake Valley Golf Club, 10 minutes from Old Kinderhook Golf Resort, and 12 minutes to Larry Gale Public Boat Launch.
