The rent amount and type that the tenant (lessee) will be responsible to pay to the landlord (lessor) throughout the lease term is negotiated prior to both parties signing a lease agreement. About the Property

Franklin Towne Plaza (FTP) is a flagship project which Hawkins Companies has retained for nearly thirty years. Prior to being one of Boise’s busiest retail centers, this land consisted of 72 single family homes and lots. Partners Gary Hawkins and Steve Smith saw the immense potential in this location as plans were announced to construct the Boise Towne Square Mall kitty-corner to this location. Through persistent dedication, door to door visits, multiple negotiations and a possible sprinkle of divine favor, all 72 lots were individually acquired. After the rezoning and predevelopment work was complete, the site was turned into Franklin Towne Plaza, the home of Idaho’s first Costco. After many years, Costco decided to vacate FTP to build a larger store which opened the door for Hawkins to bring Idaho its first Cabela’s.
