This Holiday Inn Express limited-service three-story, 75 room hotel was built in 1996 with wood frame construction. In addition to the 75 guest rooms, this hotel houses a 900 sq ft meeting room, indoor pool and whirlpool, exercise room, and business center. The next owner will have the opportunity to re-position this attractive location and solid three-story property to a Best Western or pursue other franchise options. The lobby is an open, two-story space with large windows, has a stairway to the second floor, and opens to the breakfast room at the back of the space. The hotel offers an indoor, heated pool and spa tub, guest laundry area and a small fitness center of 188 sq ft, located in the pool deck area. There is a large meeting room space with a bathroom and wet bar on the first floor with 900 sq ft enough room to fit about 35 guests. All public areas and guestrooms, including the bathrooms, will require complete renovation under the Best Western Standards. The last extensive renovation for guest areas of the hotel was in 2012; bathroom granite vanities were installed in 2010. Guestrooms are all similar in size. Most guestrooms have knee walls with arches and undersized sitting areas. These rooms are not called suites in HIX current inventory, but a new owner would have to option to redesign 20% of the guestrooms to meet the Best Western requirement for Suite guestroom designation. All the guest rooms have new RFID locksets were recently installed and the parking lot was re-sealed and re-striped in 2019.
