Alex received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000. Alex has focused on his business in addition to becoming an active member in the community. Much of his time is spent coaching his children's sports but he is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS, The Chamber of Commerce in Denton and Argyle, Denton Economic Development Partnership, The Urban Land Institute, Class of 2004-2005 Leadership Denton.
