Custom restorations, renovations, and repairs on vintage RV's
Airdream performs both (1) renovations, which are individual projects like new floors or paint etc; these are quoted individually by each project. We also perform (2) total restorations, which begins with a a shell-off dissassembly and usually takes 10-16 months, depending on the client's scope-of-work. To quote clients accurately on either, the first step would be for the client to email us a very defined scope-of-work, listing everything they would like us to do. The best route is to have the client take a photo of each project and then add 3-4 descriptive bullet points explaining the project photo. From there, we can schedule a phone call to discuss the client's email and tighten up the scope-of-work through some simple Q and A’s. Ultimately, we would then ask them to tow their trailer to our shop, for a final production meeting, as we walk their unit with them. Regarding a full restoration, first we completely disassemble the client's trailer and inventory each part, then we need to restore or recreate each part, ultimately building the client a brand new trailer! Thus, the client should expect to invest funds at about a 30%-40% discount vs purchasing a brand new trailer, since that is what we will be doing for them. However, taking it one step further than the factory, we are building them a one-of-a-kind custom trailer, tailored to their exact design and personal specs.
