The Boutique is nestled in a beautiful, modern space in the heart of Magnolia. It was founded in 2012, and has been celebrated as the top consignment boutique in Seattle. The owner is known for careful curation, hand-selecting every item in the boutique. This practice has granted the business access to Seattle’s finest closets in order to bring customers the most coveted brands and styles that are relevant now.
All inventory is 100% consignment, no instant cash purchasing - ever. Therefore, inventory is only paid for when the consigned item is sold - the ultimate business model.
Prior to Covid lockdowns, the business sold 90-95% of its inventory in-store and 5-10% online. Covid forced a pivot, and the online store was created on Shopify. This pivot provided our local customers and our National & International social media followers access to the boutiques inventory from their computers & mobile devices. This has led to a in-store/online sales composition of ~ 60%/40% respectively. If new owner is social media and online markeplace savvy, this is an unlimited growth opportunity for this business.
