Our business is largely a mobile construction business. It consist of two fully equipped cargo trailers, two trucks and numerous shop tools. A buyer would have to relocate to a new location and have a shop for building some of the components, although most of the greenhouses are built on site. Our current shop also houses a duplex which generates $2800 monthly and can be purchased separately for $425,000. For the out of state purchaser looking to relocate this gives you the chance to buy a business and have an immediate place to live and rental income.
Competition
We are the only greenhouse company that builds with wood and creates a winter greenhouse for the northeast. We have built greenhouses from Bangor Maine, to Western NY but primarily Vermont, New Hampshire, Eastern NY and Massachusetts. We are an established company, and attract many customers based on referrals and growing customer base. .
Growth & Expansion
We generated 300k in sales this year and could have probably doubled that had we followed up on the many inquiries. We only have a website and advertise a little on VT public radio. We see enormous opportunity for growth. Currently, we mostly do design build and that alone has only touched the surface. There is opportunity for redi-built modular greenhouses that are portable, maintenance contracts, consulting contracts and repairs, replacement, updates of systems.
