The kennel floor is 4000 psi poured cement. The runs are slightly sloped to the rear with an installed progressive gutter, allowing for flows to the end of the building for easy clean up. The kennel includes two bathing stations, both virtually identical: An elevated mounted bathing tub and walk-in shower for larger breeds off the training room, and the same in the separate grooming room.
The training room, which has a separate entrance/exit, is 40 ft. x 40 ft. Poured cement flooring, covered in sectioned rubber matting for sure footing, and drains for cleaning. Wall mounted mirrors allow for eye to eye training. Whether working in conformation, obedience, or action sports, you can see your accomplishments while training.
The feeding organization area (kitchen) serves a prep area for individualized diets for guests. A full size refrigerator/freezer maintains any special diets brought for guests who require it. The counter area is easily accessed and cleaned. Plenty of storage space for supplies and pet food.
The property frontage showcases a fenced agility field or exercise/play area. There is split rail fencing across the front, with wire/poles and 3 different secure entrance/exit points. There is electricity service up to the field, and water is available. Seven different exercise yards are offered: 4 on the small dog side. Two of the yards, rock and grass, are 20 ft. x 40 ft. and then 3 smaller yards grass only, for smaller guests to exercise. There are two sliding doors on the small dog side for easy walk out. The large dog side also has 2 sliding doors for exit to the exercise yard, with 3 separately fenced areas on rock and grass. These main exercise yards are securely enclosed in 6 ft. chain link, and the perimeter yard is 5 ft. pole/wire, which encloses and connects the entire yard to the building for security and safety. Privacy wood fencing is provided across the front of the yards to ease concerns of guests from visual distractions.
There is a septic system with capacity to accommodate 80 runs, which the county approved to accommodate kennel expansion, or the addition of living quarters. The kennel has county water, and all electric service is buried for safety, with three-phase power to the building. There are three separate heat/pumps servicing the 5000 sq. ft. building.
