Brewhaus is a German American pub with a strong emphasis on chef driven food, paired with good ale and wine in a casual setting. It brings the freshest mix of German American brews and eats. The owner has brought Grandma's recipes from the old country to life with a 21st Century modern spin. There is a great mix of fun, food and brews at Brewhaus! It gets great reviews from customers for great food, great service and great atmosphere. Brewhaus is located at 224 Frazier Ave in Chattanooga Tennessee. The restaurant has two parking lots, one in front of the building on Frazier Ave and a gravel lot used for employee parking on the back side of the building on River Street. This building has the only parking lot located on Frazier Avenue. The dining /bar area has two kegerators one with 6 taps and one with 4. It also has 2 reach-in coolers: one is equipped for kegs also. The bar has a 3-compartment sink and shelving for liquor, wine, glass ware and etc. There is an existing bar and tables and chairs in the dining room. The bar also has 3 TVs and an audio system for the inside and both outdoor seating areas. There is a covered deck with roughly 40 seats and with roll down tarps for wind and rain. The side area called “The Beer Garden” has six large picnic tables and is completely fenced in. The audio system runs to both and is set up to have game sound inside the restaurant and music on the outdoor areas. Brewhaus also has a 2 terminal Aloha System for the Front of House. Competition
The current market for Brewhaus is a good mix of tourist and locals. There is a wide range of ages from young professionals to retirees. There are quite a few retired military regulars and some active duty customers that have served or have been stationed in Germany. Brewhaus has some German and European clientele. Being located right beside a walking bridge provides foot traffic looking for a cold beer. We offer German and Craft beer so we see a variety of beer drinkers Being the only German/American restaurant/bar in town provides new customers too.
Growth & Expansion
Chattanooga is growing at a rapid pace. The owner states that keeping up with advertising and getting the Brewhaus name out there is suboptimal. As a result, it is expected that the opportunities for growth are very high. The owners has mentioned that Brewhaus has not taken advantage of digital and social media outlets. Although some social media, has been utilized, more could be done in the digital arena. There is no direct competition with respect to the German-influenced food offered, but Tremont Tavern, and Basecamp Bar are our local competitors.
Financing
Will consider based upon the right circumstances.
Support & Training
The current owner is available for training and support for 30 days in a consulting role, assisting with sales reps, ordering food and alcohol, and training. Some experienced staff would also help to train new employees. A key manager has a great handle on day-to-day shifts and can also assist with the transition. She is likely to stay on with a change in ownership.
Reason for Selling
The owner has decided to sell because his heart is not in it the way it used to
