OSA or Obstructive Sleep Apnea is experienced by people with Diabetes suffers, poor sleep, patients with Obesity as well as people with morning headaches. Poor sleep is responsible for 20% of all serious car crash injuries as well as 85% of people with congestive heart failure. After 30 years in practice this business's reputation is well established in Tennessee and has the potential to expand with the addition of new practitioners and extra beds. Patients are kept well informed along every step of the process. In-home testing is accomplished by equipment being delivered to the patient's home and is then returned to the clinician by return postage. Reporting is completed and sent to the patient's doctor within 48 hours of the appointment. The same process is in place for in-house testing with obviously, shorter time frames. There are two offices as well as a facility at the local university which specializes in OSA studies. Office hours are 8am-4pm with night hours being 8pm-6am. The practice performs 80-100 studies per month. The owner served, first as a night technician in 1997 and then became clinical coordinator in 1999 and in 2011 purchased the practice. New ownership would require a state licensed technologist.
