BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1848, the historic Yoerg Brewing Company was Minnesota’s very first Brewery. Anthon Yoerg, who came from a brewing family in Bavaria, negotiated with the Ojibwe Indians to purchase land across from what is now downtown Saint Paul to build his brick brewery. For more than 100 years, the Yoerg Brewery produced Minnesota’s finest beers. The brewery stayed small and eventually, with the changing times, closed in 1952.

In 2016, the brewery was resurrected with distribution, and reopened in a historic, Victorian building that was built in 1885. Today, the complex holds the Yoerg Brewery, the state’s finest European beer bar, a wine bar and a full-service restaurant. With over 500 Google reviews, the iconic Yoerg Brewing Company is the highest-rated restaurant in the state with a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars. The St. Paul Pioneer Press called the pub “The most photographed in the state.” For more information on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, please contact Brian Aagaard.
