Fast Growing Business with Enormous Potential for Growth
This is a fast growing mobile bartending school that offers a great learning experience for students. We have our instructors bring the equipment to the locations where we teach and this format has proven to work very well. Over the years our two-day (12-hour) bartending program has been developed to become one of the best bartending courses in the country and we almost always get excellent reviews from graduates. The school is based in New England and it can be run from a home office almost anywhere. We currently hold classes in 9 states (mostly in the northeast), and throughout the years we've held classes in 18 different states around the country. This school has enormous potential for growth as the system we use is very scaleable and we've only held classes in a small number of potential locations.
Note: We also have an event company for sale that offers bartending services. It can be bought together with this business or separately. The two businesses can work well together so that is another option for an interested buyer.
This business includes our Student Manual (which took years to complete and is among the most in-depth bartending manuals in the country) along with all of the equipment and supplies needed to hold classes. We typically charge between $250 to $300 per student and that includes our full 12-hour hands-on program as well as an alcohol safety certification. Most classes have between 10 to 40 students enrolled, so one two-day course can generate a lot of revenue in a short period of time.
This is a seasonal business that generally operates in the fall and in the spring for about six months out of the year. The other six months we do not hold classes (so we take the summers and winters off), but it could be made to operate fully throughout the year if desired. We rent spaces for our classes too, so there is very little overhead as we do not require a physical year-round retail location. Our system has been built extremely well over the last decade so the business is very well functioning, everything is really organized, and it's a "turn-key" operation that should start making a profit as soon as someone were to begin.
We're looking for someone who can take this business to the next level and build it into something even greater. There are dozens upon dozens of locations where we have never operated that could be outstanding places to hold classes. This business could be grown into a much larger operation with using the same formula that has already been proven to work in several existing locations. In some recent years we have generated about 100K in revenue, but if this business were to be expanded to new areas, we think that it could bring in significantly more.
Lastly, this business is a lot of fun and rewarding to be a part of. It's great to teach eager students how to be top-notch bartenders and our instructors get a nice sense of joy from seeing them learn about such a time-honored profession. We've graduated hundreds of students and many of them have gone on to attain bartending jobs at wonderful establishments.
