P.F Depot is centrally located in the Lehigh Valley that all Pepperidge distributors have a short driving distance to their territories. Included in the sale is a new handheld and printer purchased last September. Handheld comes with a three-year transferable warranty. The cost for the new equipment was almost $4,000. I purchased the equipment instead of leasing from Pepperidge Farm. Greater savings Older Grumman Olson truck included. Competition
Pepperidge Farm products was founded on an idea that consumers would be willing to pay a little more for product that tastes Good and is good for you. Its a repeat business that keeps growing. The Bread route consists of eight stores. Four are large volume stores where most of the business is done, Wegmans, Two Giants, and Wal-Mart. other four stores are Sam's Club, Weis Redner's and Target. All stores are within a few miles of each other, so you are not driving a great distance from store to store.
Growth & Expansion
The territory is a great route, with real estate (territory) that could develop into much larger business. underdeveloped territory to the north mostly farm fields and two small towns with a store each. Another store comes into that area will most likely be yours to service and develop into much greater sales. Pepperidge Farm Owners get paid a 20% commission on all sales including sale items. Most of our competition gets paid less commission and get paid much less on sale items, those buy one get one free sale, they only get paid on the sale one.
