Great Harvest-Lansing is locally owned and operated and conveniently located on Saginaw Highway, the heart of Lansing’s major commercial hub. We are part of the Waverly district, a suburb of Lansing that is an urban-suburban mix. Most residents own their own homes, and many are young professionals. Amenities in the surrounding area include numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.
We are known for high quality, scratch-made breads, which we handcraft daily using only the purest and simplest ingredients. In addition, we offer an assortment of scones, muffins, cookies, and tea cakes. Each morning, we fresh-grind premium whole wheat in our bakery and blend it with natural ingredients, like yeast, salt, and honey, to create fresh products that taste amazing and keep clients returning to our store. We have loyal customers who have been shopping with us for over 25 years.


ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION:
We have a thriving in-store business. We also have standing wholesale accounts such as Meijer Capital Market, located in downtown Lansing, and Horrocks locations in both Lansing and Battle Creek. We make daily deliveries to the Horrocks Lansing store Monday through Saturday and twice a week delivery to the Battle Creek store. There is additional potential to expand delivery days servicing Battle Creek and/or alternatively add the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo stores to the delivery area, as the territory is available


POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH

Potential opportunities for the future include expanded marketing opportunities on various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp. The business is primed to expand sandwich offerings to include hot sandwiches, soups, and delivery options for local businesses and community events, including catering, which is a huge potential opportunity. Third party deliveries are also an untapped revenue stream, Door-dash, Uber eats, EZ-Cater, for which there is a significant demand in this area. The addition of a coffee program, Catering or a beverage program is another area of opportunity. Farmer’s market opportunities exist at DeWitt Farmer’s market and Dimondale locations, along with and Indoor market at Sparrow Hospital.
