Training and Support
At College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving®, it is often said, “You might be in business for yourself, but you are not in business by yourself.” This is because we, as the Franchisor, work very hard to prepare and support our new and existing Franchise Partners for long-term success. We do so by using the following approach:
- We assign every new location a pre-opening specialist to guide them through the many steps that lead to opening a new location.
- We provide early access to our Knowledge Base that contains over 500 articles, tools, and resources beneficial to all owners and operators.
- Early access is also given to our LMS with over 25 eLearning courses that cover everything from technical basics, to proven operational and profitability best practices, and so much more.
- We provide a full week of highly engaging virtual learning, called Franchise Management School, where we cover all of the information needed to open and operate a successful business – every new Franchise Agreement includes two seats.
- We then facilitate a full week of on-site training at one of our Certified Training Locations where we bring all that was learned in Franchise Management School to life and prepare the new owner(s) and operator(s) for the technical and operational demands of the business – every new Franchise Agreement includes two seats.
- Approximately three weeks prior to the new location opening, we host an introductory call with the Franchise Partner(s) and their Franchise Business Coach (FBC), who will provide ongoing support post opening and who serves as a valuable resource throughout the full tenure of Franchise Partners.
- We send a trainer to the new location 2 days prior to opening, when we follow up on any desired training specifics for the new owner(s) based on information we gather throughout the new owner/operator training curriculum. In addition, we do an all systems check, we touch on key operational aspects of the business with the full team by offering hands-on training and mock operations, and we stay on-site through the first 2 days of operation.
The support doesn't stop once you open. You will have access to your dedicated FBC at all times and will have the opportunity to attend trainings and conventions on a regular basis!

Through hard work and a dedication to providing reliable and trustworthy services that were needed in their community, College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving® was born in 2005 and business immediately boomed. In 2007, College HUNKS® expanded into franchising efforts and took off across the United States and into Canada, with over 190 locations. Today, we strive to be a symbol for high-quality moving and junk removal services that are fast, flexible, and dependable.
