History
Knockouts Haircuts and Grooming started in Addison, TX in 2003 by Tom and Karin Friday. The foundation of the company concentrated on creating a place and atmosphere where any customer would feel comfortable being well groomed and pampered. Starting with only 7 employees, they focused on building a unique hair cutting and grooming experience. Two of the the original employees, Christen and Vicki still work for Knockouts. In fact, Vicki is now a franchisee and owns two stores! The winning concept came alive at the Addison location and opened the door for franchisee opportunities worldwide. Knockouts sold the first franchise in 2004, to Jack Boyd.
Under the leadership of founders, Tom & Karin Friday, the concept has proved to be a big success. “Customers love to be pampered within an atmosphere that is inviting and relaxing.”
