David is Vice President in the Houston Office Division, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of land, free-standing and multi-tenant buildings and tenant representation. David has over 50 years of commercial real estate experience and has been involved in excess of 500 acquisition, disposition and leasing transactions with a volume in excess of $600,000,000. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2010, he was a shareholder of McDade, Smith; a boutique land brokerage firm. He has also held positions with several small commercial brokerage firms including serving as President of A. David Schwarz Ill, Inc., founded in 1977. David has represented numerous local and national clients, which have included Data Foundry, Frank Liu, Snap-on-Tools, Frost Bank, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, Unilev Capital Corporation, Trammell Crow Company, the Prudential Insurance Company of America, Metro, Bergen Brunswig, Property Commerce, Terra Mark Communities, Clark Dietrich, The Woodlands Corporation, Baylor College of Medicine, The American Heart Association, Spring Creek Barbeque, The Weather Museum, and The Museum of Printing History. Additionally, David has recently been awarded contracts by: The City of Houston, Houston Community College, Houston Independent School District & The Harris Center. David received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin, and is a licensed Real Estate professional in Texas.
