Sandy Tierney is Executive Vice President of McCall & Almy and serves as a real estate advisor for the firm’s clients with a specialization in retail real estate. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Leggat McCall/Grubb & Ellis, one of Boston's leading real estate brokerage firms, and left to become a partner at The Pyramid Companies, the largest developer of regional shopping malls in the northeast. From 1984-1988 he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for J. Bildner & Sons, a gourmet grocery store chain, where his responsibilities included the company's real estate matters. Mr. Tierney practiced real estate and corporate law in the Boston area for 13 years. Sandy is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association where he is also a member of the Real Property and Business Law Sections. He is a member and past president of the University Club of Boston and currently serves on the Board of Governors and as Chairman of the Grounds Committee of The Country Club. He serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Development Committee of Squashbusters, a non-profit, academic, athletic and community service program for Boston youth. He received a Juris Doctor from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in History from Dartmouth College.
