As an Assistant Director in the Savills New Jersey office, Alex Chaves focuses exclusively on corporate real estate dispositions. Alex is responsible for delivering on-time cash flow for corporate surplus leases, sales and sale-leasebacks. In pursuit of this goal, he manages transactions and performs in-depth market research to calculate accurate pricing, timing and costs. Working with his team to drive optimal outcomes for each client, Alex helps find prospects for his Dispositions team through relationship building, networking, and outbound marketing via social networking and email communications. Alex joined Savills in May 2019 after gaining experience in corporate surplus property dispositions as associate director with CoreDispo. Alex brought in a leading global Fortune 500 manufacturer as a new client, after another global real estate company had failed for several years to produce any activity for five difficult surplus sites. Within four months, Alex and the team delivered three closed transactions, with another transaction underway and very promising activity on the fifth site. As a result, the client continues to bring new projects to the Savills Dispositions team. Prior to CoreDispo, Alex worked for Nielsen as a global communications specialist and was responsible for writing content and event coordination for senior level executives. His objective was to maintain and build strategic relationships for Nielsen with its clients and key industry players in the fields of advertising, media and consumer packaged goods. Before joining Nielsen, Alex was a social media agent for major brand name companies with Inktel Contact Center Solutions.
