Alex Johnson, CCIM, is President at Laurex Advisors in Plano, Texas. He coaches business leaders and entrepreneurs by taking the uncertainty out of their business and career achievement to break through barriers and succeed. He spent 14 years in leadership roles with PepsiCo, Nortel, and AT&T / Lucent Technologies. In 2002, he started hisc ommercial real estate advisory firm, Laurex Advisors. From portfolio management, development, retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and land transactions, he has wide experience in the industry. In 2013, he added senior housing mergers and acquisitions to his offering. Since starting the firm, Johnson has negotiated transactions with General Services Administration, Bank of America, Pizza Hut, McKesson, AT&T, Sava SeniorCare, small businesses, and individuals. With his Business Made Simple certification and StoryBrand knowledge, he uses his experience to help others succeed in business and life.
Johnson been a CCIM Institute Senior Instructor since 2008 in the courses of Financial and Market Analysis. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the Purdue University. He lives with his wife and has two daughters.
