Allyn has been actively selling real estate in the Chicago and North Shore area for over 25 years! Allyn’s advertising and marketing background for one of the grand old advertising agencies in Chicago (J. Walter Thompson) provided her with the knowledge to design an individualized marketing program based on each particular property. In addition, she has made continuing education a part of her business plan and have spent time learning from the great real estate gurus as well as keeping up with technology and its rapid changes. Allyn’s referral network of painters, contractors, architects, plumbers, inspectors, attorneys, mortgage brokers, electricians, stagers, etc. has been assembled over an extended period. She can give you several names for whatever you might need. Allyn’s target areas include the north side of the city and the north shore with an emphasis on Evanston, Wilmette, Rogers Park, West Ridge, Edgewater, Andersonville, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square, Albany Park, Mayfair, Kenilworth, and Winnetka. She has sold as far north as Beach Park (on the Wisconsin border) and as far south as Bolingbrook. Community involvement has always been important to Allyn, and she tries to participate as much as she can. Allyn served on PTA and Booster boards for all the schools her children attended plus she ran the Concession Stand at ETHS for several years which included a State Swim Meet each year. She spent 14 years delivering "Meals at Home" and is currently serving on the governmental affairs committee for the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors. Allyn also enjoys making music and have done so with a number of good amateur groups including the Chicago Master Singers, The Chicago Bar Association Chorus and Orchestra as well as her local church choir. Allyn is in a book group that was started by one of her clients and they are still together some 15 years later, and she is now sold properties to both of her children.
