Bio
Andrew S. Lazarus is a Vice President in FirstService Residential's Manhattan Condo/Co-op Division. In this role, Andrew oversees a team of property managers who specialize in building operations for cooperatives, condominiums, and Mitchell-Lama properties. With nearly three-decades of experience in residential and commercial real estate, Andrew provides exceptional leadership and support to his team and the division. His specialties include property management, operations, project management, financial and asset management, marketing, leasing, and a strong understanding of the complex regulations that govern income-restricted properties, and the city’s Mitchell-Lama program. His work includes collaboration with New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Andrew’s experience in commercial real estate includes property operations, management, leasing, marketing, financial management, construction management, and brokerage services. To date, his commercial leasing transactions, including office and retail space, exceed two million square feet. Andrew started his real estate career at Time Equities, before moving to Insignia/ESG (now CBRE) and Macklowe Properties. He joined Tudor Realty Services Corp. (Tudor) in 2009 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and a member of the leadership team which oversaw day-to-day operations of the company. In 2022, Tudor was acquired by FirstService Residential, where Andrew continues to serve boards, owners, shareholders, and residents across the New York City region. Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York and holds the Registered in Apartment Management (RAM) designation. He is also a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York, where he formerly served on its Board of Governors.
