Andrew Margulies advises corporate, institutional, and private clients on the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and net-leased properties with a specialty in the Southeast US. Andrew's team focuses in the Carolinas with specializations in retail, medical, and mixed-use assets with team members in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, Southern, Virginia, and Chicago, IL. Andrew excels at understanding and aligning with Landlords' disposition goals and develops pricing evaluations and marketing strategies to help them achieve maximum values. In addition, Andrew creatively solves complex issues during contract negotiations and escrow management to ensure that transactions close in a timely manner. Andrew joined Marcus & Millichap’s Downtown Chicago office in 2006 and within three years was named a Top Ten Agent for Multi-Tenant Retail within the firm. Andrew is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina and was instrumental in the opening of Marcus & Millichap’s Raleigh office in 2008. In 2012, Andrew was promoted to Senior Associate. He was promoted to Associate Vice President of Investments in 2014, to Vice President of Investments in 2015, and to First Vice President of Investments in 2017. Andrew has received multiple National Achievement Awards (Top ten percent of Marcus & Millichap Agents nationwide) and he is a Senior Director in the firm’s National Retail Group and Net-Leased Properties Group. Andrew is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington with an emphasis in Communications and Business.
