Andrew Montooth, CCIM, is the Managing Director of Newmark’s investment services division in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Montooth has had great success with all commercial real estate property types but focuses primarily on medical, office, retail and specialized multifamily assets. He and his team are able to assist sellers with every aspect of the transaction/value addition process. They also assist buyers and tenants with finding the right assets to add to their portfolios, determining the availability of these assets and completing the due diligence and analysis process leading up to closing. As a seller/landlord representative, Mr. Montooth adds tremendous value with his vast database of potential buyers, his evaluation of pricing, his knowledge of the current lending environment and his team’s ability to add value through leasing and re-use. All of these are crucial to determining the timing of taking an asset to the market. His keys to successful selling are market knowledge, database of contacts and most of all hard work. Mr. Montooth is determined to get results for his clients not just in Columbus, but all over the country. Some of Mr. Montooth’s recent sales include: Lincoln Village Shopping Center (grocery anchored retail center – 230,000 square feet), 700 Ackerman Road (multi-tenant office building – 108,974 square feet), Olentangy Valley Center (grocery-anchored center – 100,000 square feet), Hilliard MOB Portfolio (two medical office buildings – 80,000 square feet) Delaware County Bank corporate headquarters (single-tenant office building – 63,000 square feet), 7277 Smith’s Mill Road (medical connected to a hospital – 60,042 square feet) Fresenius Medical Care Clinic Portfolio (STNL portfolio – 50,000 square feet) and University Edge Notre Dame Student Housing (528-bed student housing facility). Mr. Montooth has also executed successful lease transaction with Columbus Ear, Nose and Throat; and Mount Carmel Health Systems; OSU Managed Health Care; OSU OBGYN; and OSU Physicians.

Mr. Montooth earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in communications with a minor in English from the Ohio State University.
